[16 Dec 2009|10:49am] tabo0 Willa- I was also accepted to Depaul Univ in Chicago and Univ of SF. However, about ten minutes ago, I just got a call from Univ. of Minnesota, ranked 20th in the country, and they ACCEPTED ME WHEN MY NUMBERS SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ME REJECTED, especially given whom they've been accepting, according to forums. 20th in the fucking nation! Granted, Minnesota is NOT a location in which I am interested, but we shall see. I am seriously stunned. I am as stunned as I was when I was admitted to Berkeley as a freshman. I have this sense of inferiority that I will be rejected from everything, but this time, I seriously should have been, given the competition and my LSAT. I truly believe it was my personal statement. Oh. My. Fucking. God. What a beautiful end to my finals. edit: I ALSO just received my first rejection ever...ever in my academic career...from University of Virginia, a top 10 law school. I am not surprised in the slightest and have no interest living in Virginia. I only applied because it was free. No big deal! Still in a fantastic mood! post comment
